About the SmarTrack 5+
The SmarTrack 5+ is an insurance-approved vehicle tracker certified to the Thatcham S5 standard. It combines professional vehicle tracking and Driver Recognition with the additional security of remote immobilisation.
The system uses Driver Recognition through the D-iD mobile app or a Driver Detection card/tag to help confirm whether the person using the vehicle is authorised. If the authorised driver is not detected, the Secure Control Centre can investigate the alert. In the event of a confirmed theft, the vehicle can also be remotely immobilised at police request, helping to prevent it from being moved further.
The SmarTrack 5+ is ideal for customers who require a Thatcham S5 tracker but want an additional layer of protection beyond Driver Recognition. It is a strong choice for high-value or frequently targeted vehicles, particularly for customers who want the reassurance of remote immobilisation in addition to professional theft monitoring.
