About the SmarTrack Shadow Immobiliser
The SmarTrack Shadow is a standalone vehicle immobiliser designed to help prevent unauthorised use of the vehicle. It works independently from vehicle tracking and does not require an ongoing subscription.
The system uses Driver Detection Cards and smartphone app technology to recognise an authorised user. It can automatically immobilise the vehicle and also provides remote immobilisation and intelligent scheduling for added security.
It is ideal for customers who want an additional layer of vehicle theft protection without paying for a tracking subscription. It is particularly suitable for customers who want smartphone control and convenient automatic immobilisation.
The main difference Unlike an S5 or S7 tracker, Shadow focuses primarily on preventing the vehicle from being driven rather than tracking and recovering it. It is a standalone immobiliser with no ongoing subscription.
